What we can't do

Sometimes, it really strikes me just how insane the things we humans do for “fun” are. I spent a couple of minutes on Sunday watching a group of Japanese guys getting ridiculous air off a jump up at Hachi Kogen. It occured to me that on a decent run these guys were a good three and a bit meters off the ground and travelling at significant speed. You land that on your head and you are not getting up. There’s gotta be some procreation genes somewhere, deep down, that are screaming every time one of those guys leans forward, pulls down his goggles and edges off down the hill.
