Realising that when I was wearing the gloves, I was unable to operate the buttons on my iPod and it being very, very cold outside, I decided that a reasonable alternative was to turn on the iPod and then navigate the three buttons I needed to press by using the tip of my nose. Even though this experiment was an eventual failure (I couldn’t work out how to use the scroll wheel with my nose and still be able to see the screen) it was totally worth it for seeing a woman carrying a paper bag walk straight into a railing because she was staring at me and rotating her body as she went past.
