Half and half

Saturday, the almighty “roof of Sogo” beer garden. A yearly event combining all the worst (read: best) elements of as much beer as you can drink and a tangible lack of stomach filling food. First year in Japan it was raining, second year it was clear with late drunkeness, this year we had a little of both.

We ended up in Troop Cafe dancing to drum and bass with a ridiculous strobe light. Unexpected, but fun. Dave’s idea to go for kebabs afterwards was a stroke of genius, his idea to hire a hookah was greeted as a masterstroke at the time, but my lungs the next morning thought differently.

I woke up on Sunday with a bloody little toe that was completely missing the toenail. How that happened I have no idea.
