Ma-On
Hooray for Typhoon No. 22 this year, and my does it look like this one means business:
Typhoon No. 22, the strongest typhoon in the past decade, was located about 170 kilometers east of Minami Daito Island, Okinawa Prefecture, and was moving north-northeast at about 25 kilometers per hour, according to agency officials. The atmospheric pressure at its center was 920 hectopascals and it was packing winds up to 50 meters per second. At the moment it looks like it’s set to head straight over the southern Kinki region where I am and they’ve forecast rains in the area dumping over 400mm on us. I’m supposed to go to work tomorrow morning (open day) and a concert tomorrow night (Deerhoof and 54-71 in Juso), so here’s hoping the trains don’t stop running. Batten the hatches.
