Ring ring
Late last night I was walking to the station in Shinkaichi with Kanako and Nick. We were wandering through the underground mall that connects to the station and there was absolutely no one around. All the shopfronts had their shutters down and it was pretty quiet. Suddenly there was a ringing and this guy shot past us on a bike. He was wearing a full station masters uniform, complete with peaked cap and fancy ass jacket and was riding what could only be described as a clown cycle with a flat rear tire. Because of his weight compared to the bike he was wobbling and had to constantly weave in and out between the support columns that ran along the length of the passageway. It was the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen and I’m kicking myself I didn’t have my camera on hand. Only in Japan, huh?
