The month long rainy season is officially upon and boy does it suck. When it’s not absolutely pissing down and humid, it’s just humid, or dark and humid, or drizzling and humid or any other variation of rain you can possibly think of. It’s also humid. Did I mention the humidity?

In case you haven’t guessed already, I deal very poorly with humidity. In Perth it gets very hot in summer (we’re talking up to 46 degrees folks) and I would take that any day in preference to this pissweak 28 degrees but so humid that the second you step outside you’re covered in sweat. There’s nothing worse that standing at the front of the class dripping like a human sprinkler while 40 Japanese students in perfect clean white uniforms stare at you with a mixture of fascination and distaste.
