Striku
I was in PUPA yesterday evening after the staff start of year party. As with most official functions in Japan, this one had free flow alcohol and a lot of long boring speeches in Japanese. As a result, I was somewhat tipsy so, when a friend of mine challenged me to a game of ten-pin bowling, naturally I accepted. Of course, it happened to be 3.30am at the time but this, my friends, was in the land of the rising crazy where everything and anything is possible. I’d love to see anywhere else in the world that could support at 7 story building filled with bowling lanes and billard tables and open 24 hours a day, and not go straight out of business.
Incidentally, I won the bet.
