Art Appreciation
One of the really neat things about Japan is that the Japanese seem to be crazy about art and as such there’s usually at least a couple of big exhibitions within shooting distance of Kobe at any one time. In the past month I’ve seen Matisse paintings in Himeji, Klimt stuff in Kobe and this weekend I went and saw an exhibition on Mexican Women Surrealists in Osaka. Here’s some examples of both Kahlo and Klimt’s work and the buildings they were housed in. Hoorah!
