Well, I worked out how to sign up for a video rental membership and rent movies the other day which was quite exciting. The problem is you can only get each movie in two formats; Japanese subtitles or dubbed Japanese. This is great for English movies but as I found out after hiring a non-English movie without thinking, Japanese subtitles don’t help much if they’re not speaking English. To make things even better, the dvds only seem to only have Japanese as a subtitle option which is utterly stupid. If you going to use the format, use it properly. Looks like Hollywood blockbusters it is. Groan.
